Older Children Read to Younger Children
Fifth grade students read to 1st, 2nd 3rd grade students during recess.
Highlight / Output
- Training of fifth grade students to read to the younger children.
- Multiple voluntary reading sessions for the young students took place during recess.
- A celebration at Busy Box for 70 5th grade students for their efforts. Students who read the most from each school were recognized and every student got a medal as well as a book. The most motivating and supporting teacher was recognized as well.

Beirut Book Exhibition
Organized reading sessions as well as bussed students to visit the exhibition.

Reading Week
Refurbished Class Libraries in schools from the 6 mohafazat. Some of the books were from private donors and others were from UNICEF. Organized reading activities in Tripoli, Akkar, Beirut, Bekaa Mount Lebanon, Nebatieh and the South.
Highlight / Output
- Trained story tellers read books from the class libraries reminding the students of the wonderful collection in the classroom.
