Beirut World Book Capital: Older Children Read to Younger Children
Fifth grade students will be trained to read to 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students during recess.

- All fifth grade students from the five schools will join together in a festivity at a cultural site.

Read to Succeed
Personalized guided reading in small groups to underprivileged children focusing on the joy of stories selected from the provided/developed class library.
Highlight / Output
- Character stories will be created by every small group and will then be displayed in an exhibition at UNESCO.

Read Across Lebanon
72 class libraries will be refurbished in 12 of Iqra’ Association Schools (a total of 2160 books). 144 reading sessions will be conducted with activities.
Teachers will be motivated to read to children with recognition to follow at the UNESCO during the reading week.

- A reading festivity will be organized in each of the 12 schools to motivate teachers to read to kids.
