- Class Library

- Provide wooden shelves with a total of 40 to 60 Arabic and English/French books. A specialized librarian trains the language teachers on how to activate the library. Trained volunteers visit the classrooms to read stories from the class library and conduct activities inspired by the stories.
- Short Story Contest

- Sixth grade students from the schools associated with IQRA’ Association are encouraged to participate in an Arabic Short Story Competition where all participants meet at UNESCO under the patronage of the ministry of education for celebration and announcement of the three best written stories. The most supportive and encouraging principal and librarian among our schools are recognized during this event as well.
- Older Children Read to Younger Children

- Fifth grade students are trained by volunteers to read during daily school recess time to 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students. Their efforts are recognized at the end of the school year by taking them to a historical site or joining in a celebration.
- The National Reading Week
- Organize reading and recreational activities with some of the public schools to mark the National Reading Week.
- Beirut Book Exhibition
- Participate by organizing reading corners in the exhibition hall, busing students from selected public schools and distributing books.
