Volunteering with Iqra' Association
Volunteering with Iqra’ Association gives immediate gratification. Our volunteer base is comprised of mostly women, university students as well as high school students. All volunteers go through a training process to get acquainted with the guidelines to follow while reading to children in public school classrooms. Some volunteers help out in the office preparing material needed to back our class libraries, others work directly with children in elementary public school classrooms and others plan fund raising activities.
